Description
A simple model in order to allow for the mounting of alu extrusions on top of the sv08.
From the original model:
"[…]The anchor has a 3mm hole for inserting a heat-set insert that takes a 2.5mm screw. Why 2.5mm ? Since the heat-set insert in the anchor provides the threads for attaching the extrusion, there was no guarantee that the step of the threads of the holes on top of the sv08 would line up with those on the heat-set inserts and as a result the extrusion might be lifted up a bit.
As is we just use the sv08 holes as simple holes.
The model should be printer “standing up” with at least 4 wall loops and 20% infill out of PETG or a stronger/more heat resistant material, depending on your needs. […]
For the base of the top hat the 2020 alu extrusions have to be cut to 490mm (2 pieces) and 503mm (2 pieces), respectively."
