This carabiner prints flat for convenience, but the flexible end is flared - after you initially pull it off the print bed, hole in the flexible end won't quite line up with the latch on the fixed end. Just hold the flexible end in one hand and fixed side in the other and twist the body gently - twist just hard enough so that when you release it the hole and the latch stay lined up. Then just flip the flexible end to the inside and it should latch in place.
