June 21, 2025 Update
I added a looser tolerance for the Spacer Bushing and Thrust Washer. I noticed when assembling that I needed to thread those onto the screws before inserting the whole sub-assembly into the Bearing Roller. It wasn't a problem for me, but time consuming. So I added these files as an option for others to use.
So far the system seems to be working well and there is very low friction, which is what I was after.

I was having some trouble sourcing the shoulder bolts called for on the original design. But I liked the design better than the one it was remixed from. So I made a few changes and optimized it to be printed on a standard Bambu P1S. I added the .3mf files for the P1S using PETG to the files section as well.
The key settings I used were:
I used PETF GF (this one to be precise). I found that it's a great price, dimensionally stable and strong. I also love the matte finish. I'm sure regular PETG, ABS or other filament could be used as well. I might avoid PLA just because of how brittle it can be.
The 4 parts loaded have been remixed to support the use of standard M3x35 bolts in lieu of shoulder bolts. You probably only need the Spacer bushing remix, but I touched all of the 4 parts below with minor mods noted.
I may revisit this design at some point to see if there's a way to simplify it further. I'm a fan of the KISS approach to design, and this particular design has quite a few parts and pieces. It's very functional and well thought out, I just wish there was a simpler design with a reduced parts count.
Please let me know what you think and if there are any changes needed.
Thanks!
