Description
Let’s be honest: 3D-printed parts rarely match the flawless look of factory-made accessories—
and they often add unnecessary weight, especially since manufacturers work hard to make phones as light as possible.
That’s exactly why I designed a minimalist, exoskeleton-style bumper (only 16 grams) that preserves the phone’s aesthetics while offering essential protection. Its advantages include:
Corner protection in case of accidental drops
Raised edges to safeguard both the screen and camera lenses when placing the phone on a flat surface
Customizable appearance, as it can be printed in two or more colors for a personalized look
Recommended Print Settings
Infill: 15% Gyroid (for PLA: 25%)
Perimeters: 3–4 walls
Top/Bottom Layers: 3
Materials: TPU or PETG are recommended for optimal shock absorption. PLA is possible but requires higher infill.
Supports: Use grid supports for the screw-hole areas—these work better than organic supports.
Notes on Fit & Tolerances
The model was created using the technical sketches provided on the manufacturer’s website.
As with many other designers, I do not personally own this phone model, so I cannot guarantee absolute tolerance accuracy across all printers and materials.
Later Edit
Following valuable feedback from user “Сергей Карманов”, the model has been updated:
Dimensions scaled for a more accurate fit
The screw-mount level in the bottom corner lowered by 1 mm
Line geometry corrected around the camera modules
The Nothing logo removed at the request of manufacturers — now leaving a clean space where you can easily add your own text or name directly in the slicer
