Modular Gravity Tool Holder – Adjustable, Reinforced & T-Nut Mountable (Remix)

Description

This is a remixed and upgraded version of the original Gravity Broom Holder, made for smart and secure storage of tools, broomsticks, or garden gear with round handles. The system allows you to organize various handle sizes – and shift mounts laterally thanks to its T-slot-based mounting system.

Key Improvements in This Remix

• Multiple handle sizes: Available in 5 mm steps from 15 mm to 50 mm (more on request)
• Weighted gear: A screw can be inserted to ensure smooth, gravity-assisted locking
• Improved clamp zone: Better grip and smoother action
• T-Nut mounting: Includes bracket + M6-compatible T-slot nut (universal for all variants)
  → Works in standard aluminum profiles or milled wood grooves
• Reinforced gear stopper: Now secured from above and front, gear won’t pop out – even with heavy tools
• Refined tolerances: Smooth gear motion, strong hold

Instruction

1. 3D Printing the Model 
   1. XX-YY_End_Plate
   2. XX-YY_Main_Body or XX-YY_Main_Body_reinforced
   3. XX-YY_Spur_Gear
2. Put the rubber bands on the spur_gear
3. Insert the Spur_Gear (optionally add a  screw M6x14 and M6 nut as weight)
4. Insert the two M3-Nuts from the back into the Main_Body
5. Mount the End_Plate with two M3x12 screws after gear insertion
6. Optional: Mill a custom T-slot into wood for mounting (M12 router bit)
7. Attach the holder using the T-slot nut and two M6x20 screw (or screw directly to a wall)

• Orientation: Print the main body on the backside for maximum strength
