Description
I assemble bikes for big box stores and needed a tool tray for all my frequently used tools. This may not be perfect for anyone else unless you have the same tools but it works great for me.
V2 Update: Redesigned with a square shape and moved the tray to the rear of the design, which prevents interference with bike pedals while tuning. Rearranged tool locations for my workflow. Highly recommend using V2 not V1 at this point.
Tools this is designed for:
6 inch screwdriver
10mm driver for adusting brakes/pads
3rd hand tool
4, 5, 6mm socket hex (3/8" sockets)
13, 15mm Deepwell sockets (3/8" sockets)
10, 13mm smaller sockets (¼" sockets)
Klein Tools 5" sidecutter
14mm brake adjuster wrench
9, 10mm open/close wrenches
Printed in Overture PETG with 0.20mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle, 5% gyroid infill, 2 perimeters.
It is a tight fit getting the tray onto the upper arm, but can be moved relatively easily up and down once on. The weight of the tools helps lock the position of the tray.
