IKEA Voxtorp drawer labels

I use IKEA Metod/Maximera cabinets for storing my tools in the workshop. They are much “cheaper” then a PRO metal-cabinet which gives the same comfort and smooth drawer slide. I found the VOXTORP drawer fronts the best for my use, but they lack of a place to put a label on.

So that they have a full length handle recess, there is enough space to put a label there. To optimize the printing process, I designed the label from to parts.

• the body - print this with a 0.4 or 0.6 nozzle at 0.3 layers
• the plate - for better detailing use a .25 nozzle at 0.15 layers

Both can be easily slid into each other with a little force or a vice and then hold bombproof.

The plate are designed for a multicolor print from two parts. The plate itself with a logo recess and the logo which is made as a separated stl

To mount them on the drawer use a piece of thin double sided tape.

In this package are all of my labels (German with pictograms) included, but there are also the original step files with blank plates with which you can easily create your own ones.

And of course you can use this for any VOXTORP front in your household or anywhere.
