Description
Low poly crow model, to be printed in parts for moderate sized printers. Can be glued together using some bits of 1,75mm filament for added support.
Requires:
Requires a G9 fitting, that can be found either in hardwarestores, on amazon or ali-express. Be weary to get the slimmer 18mm diameter version, like this one for example.
After assembling all parts you may need to fill some gaps and do some sanding. The bar that holds the fitting is not keyed, you gotta estimate it out and glue it in place. having the fitting with a lamp already inserted may make that easier.
Find a nice stick in the woods, cut it to length and let it soak in bleach-water for a couple of days to make prevent it from continuing to rot away under your lamp.
Drill some holes for wires and the screw to hold in in place, also make some incisions for the legs to fit. Don't forget to pull the wires trough in advance, doing it after assembly makes it far harder.
I put LED lights in it, and those don't melt the PLA. I cant vouch for older halogen bulbs, use those at your own risk, as they can get quite hot.
