Description
A bought a drill bit guide that was primarily designed for doweling and drilling at the end of boards. However from time to time I need a guide to drill vertically in the middle of a board, so I needed a piece that I can mount to a larger piece of wood and that has the same thread to receive the metal inserts. With this I can clamp to wood to my workpiece or hold down manually.
You can print this model with 0.2 layer height, without support (print it upside down) from PLA.
Then you need a wooden board to mount this piece to, the board should be at least 10mm thick.
First drill a 30mm diameter 3mm deep hole for the countersunk part, then use a 20mm diameter drill to create the through-hole. Use 3mm screws to fix the plastic part in the wooden board.
