Description
Work in progress of a coil pack bracket for my Datsun 620, which has an L20B engine. It's designed with a 10 degree cant to help with the “approach” angle to the plugs. It's touching the upper heater hose, I so would recommend adding a split piece of silicone hose to that hose, a loom, or something. The plug boot will need trimmed 20-25mm, but to then be able to use the plugs, you'll need to hollow out the boots. Allegedly, you can do that with a super sharpened tube in a drill. 3/8" ID should be correct.
Parts you'll need as designed to use:
I plan to upload a cutting jig and maybe a split version for smaller printers as well.
I did upload the step files for this one so if you want to get this CNC'd like I did, you can send these files to PCBway along with the tech drawing attached. My cost was almost $300 doing it this way, due to them charging me like $100 for the two tiny wedges AND being hit with a $100 inbound customs fee.
This should work for L16, L18, and L20B. Maybe more.
