Description
They sell cup holders for Bogg Bags on Amazon, but they are a lousy design. This design includes a stiffener piece between the upper and lower rings, and for bottles with side handles the top ring is a closed-loop, not with a cut section for the handle.
I ran over to the local Dick's Sporting Goods and measured several bottle models, and generated the ring variations. Bottles tagged "confirmed" are known correct. Please post a note on status for other bottle types, or the key dimensions of a different bottle / ring needed. Thanks!
The pitch between the holes for the Bogg brand bag is 91mm, while the Costco knockoff bag hole pitch is 95mm. Select the appropriate stiffener. Please post a note if you find another hole pitch that needs a stiffener.
Bottom rings are designated by: <Ring ID> _ <Ring center offset>. The bottom ring center is defined to be aligned with the top ring center.
Top rings for tapered bottles and with side handles are designated by: <Ring ID> _ <Handle slot width> _ <Handle slot depth> _ <Handle slot angle>.
There are lots of different thermo bottles out there. I've produced top and bottom ring .stl files for a few common bottles:
Printing: I recommend using PETG for durability and heat tolerance. Scale up the nuts X & Y (not Z) by 5% so they fit (else too tight, you'll need two). Orient the rings with the threaded post horizontal and the flat on the screw down (support tab sticking up). Go for strength for wall thickness and infill. No supports.
