Description
I managed to lose the arm brackets for my monitors, but wanted to raise them to a sensible height. This is the solution that I ended up with, and it's been working very nicely for a few months now.
Â
If you happen to have the same monitors (and problem), feel free to try these out!
Otherwise, if you want to fit them for your monitor, f3d and STEP files are provided. The f3d file is theoretically configurable, but I haven't tested the extremes.
Measurements of the base of these monitors are also in the gallery, if you want to check before printing.Â
Â
Print info:
Just make sure to increase the walls such that there's no infill in the actual legs. Other than that, the geometry should do the rest.Â
As I recall, the examples in the images were printed at 0.28mm on a 0.4mm nozzle.
Â
Assembly info:
Requires:
Optionally, foam pads for the feet (up to 24mm diameter, cut into quarters), one per set of 4
Â
Additional features:
If you have spare heat set inserts, the holes in the top centre of the triangles are also sized for the same inserts as in the actual frame.
