Description
🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE:
We've reached our funding goal for V2 A free version of these files are available on our printables page. If you'd still like to support us by buying the backer pack please feel free to do so.
The new Milo represents a major step forward in design, capability, and customization. We've listened to the community, tested extensively, and packed this machine with thoughtful upgrades aimed at improving every part of the user experience—whether you're building your first CNC or refining a pro-grade setup.
Larger Work Area
Build and machine bigger parts thanks to a significantly expanded cutting envelope.
Customizable Motion System
Choose between leadscrews or ballscrews, depending on your precision and performance goals.
New X-Axis Configurations
Two layout options for the X-axis, giving you flexibility in machine footprint and rigidity.
Fully Redesigned Plates and HOIs
Stronger, cleaner, and easier to assemble—with improved tolerances and better load handling.
Magnetic Way Covers
Easy-access, snap-on covers to keep chips and dust out without sacrificing maintenance convenience.
Simplified Tramming Options
Features added to make fine alignment and squaring faster and less frustrating.
All-New Anti-Backlash Nuts with Auto-Adjusting Features
Say goodbye to play and manual adjustments—these improved anti-backlash nuts automatically compensate for wear and movement, keeping your machine tight and accurate over time with minimal intervention.
🌀 Milo vs. Miley: What’s the Difference?
The key difference between Milo V2 and Miley V2 is in the X-axis design. Milo uses a moving-table X-axis, similar to the V1.5—meaning the entire bed moves during operation. Miley, on the other hand, features a stationary X-axis, where only the fixture plate moves, keeping the table fixed. Both styles offer different advantages in footprint and rigidity, and both configurations can be built using the same LDO kit.
As a thank-you for your early support, this Backer Pack includes a set of exclusive design files and parts not included in the future public release:
