Figment from EPCOT

Figment is a small, purple, dragon-like creature who serves as the beloved mascot of Epcot's Imagination! pavilion at Walt Disney World. Created specifically for the "Journey Into Imagination" attraction (which debuted in 1983), Figment personifies the boundless spirit of creativity, curiosity, and wonder. His name itself, derived from "figment of my imagination," perfectly encapsulates his essence as a product and promoter of inventive thought.

Known for his playful, slightly mischievous, and eternally optimistic personality, Figment encourages guests to unlock and embrace their own imaginative potential. He's often seen with a wide, inviting smile, large expressive eyes, and small, bat-like wings. His iconic design typically features two small horns, a rounded snout, and a a vibrant, almost cartoonish, purple hue, often complemented by yellow elements (like his belly in later iterations, though not always present in earlier designs).
