Soap/Sponge Dish w/ Removable Insert

I needed a dish that didn't drain into a sink. So this is the solution I came up with!

It has a removable grate insert (which could be used by itself) that features concave slats to keep a bar of soap in place. The cross bar is sloped to allow water to flow easily into the bowl. The grate and the bowl fit together nicely with generous clearance for easy removal.

Printing

Neither part should need any special print settings (i.e. no supports), but here are a few tips to make it look nice…

Grate insert: I printed this with the model at 45 degrees and Aligned Rectilinear for the top surface pattern. This makes the lines on the top all go the same direction horizontally. 

Bowl: You can change the surface pattern for top and bottom to anything you like but some cool ones I found were Octagram Spiral, Archimedean Chords, and Concentric (OrcaSlicer).
