Description
As part of my classroom network setup project, I’m building 10" 3D-printed racks for my students. They'll be configuring and testing real-world networks, gaining hands-on experience that goes beyond just theory. There’s no better way to learn than by building and breaking your own network!
Rack Setup:
This mount can handle two Raspberry PI's, with DeskPi LK-P24's and POE hats. Support is provided for Version 4 Pi's.
I used the LabRax 10" Server Rack (5U) as the base design. You can find the model here: LabRax 10" Server Rack. While this design is excellent, the Horizontal+Edge+Solid piece doesn’t fit on a Prusa MK4(s), so I had to get creative and outsource a few parts. Big thanks to a friend’s son for helping with that print!
Printing Tips:
For the best results, print all rack mounts face down, with supports for the “top” to ensure strength and stability. Here are my recommended slicer settings:
Compatibility:
While I used the LabRax design, the parts I modeled will fit any 10" rack, making it a flexible option for other projects as well.
