Description

I'm simply jumping on the bandwagon because it was fun to draw and to make.

It's a reasonably large one-size fits all kind of ring with an open back for safety and flexibility.  If the thread on your nozzle is too long and screws all the way through to your finger bone - either cut off the nozzle, don't thread it down so far, or print a small spacer to stop it happening.

WITH CARE it can be easily bent to suit larger or smaller sizes.

The most accurate way to do this is to print a small circular column the diameter of the required size and about 40mm high.

Using pliers BECAUSE THIS NEXT BIT IS QUITE DANGEROUS AND NEEDS CARE - hold the face, lower two thirds of the ring into a cup of boiling water (perhaps not your mother's tea) for a few seconds - The band will become quite floppy and flexible in a short time.   Quickly (AND CAREFULLY SO YOU DON'T BURN YOURSELF) form the ring around the mandrel you have made to make it a perfect fit.

I think I've made enough note that boiling water is dangerous and if I've scared you, with patience that I don't possess, you could do the same thing with a little less risk with a hair dryer.
