BMW R1300GS (colored) backed GS lettering at the side covers

Update 2. July 2025: two colored version added

BMW R1300GS backed (two color) GS lettering at the side covers, choose your desired filament color(s).

Easy printable without supports using PLA or PETG.

Printing instructions:

• 0.4 nozzle
• 0.2mm Structural
• no supports needed
• 10% infill 3D Honeycomb
• for two color prints a MMU or other Multicolorunit is needed

Mounting instruction:

Remove the side panel (2 screws Torx 25) 

Clean the side panel if necessary.

Use the appropriate (left or right) 3Dprint for the panel.

Press the 3Dprint from the backside into the side panel at the two brackets (see picture on the right), slide it sideways until the retainer (marked red) clicks in.

Remount the panel with the 2 screws (max. 5 Nm tightening torque).

For removal, press down on the panel near the retainer (red circle), slide the 3Dprint sideways until it drops out.
