I've been finding myself needing a mallet hammer on recent projects, usually to tap a 3d printed part into place with damaging it. I had a roll of TPU for AMS collecting dust on the shelf and decided to give a mallet cap design a go. I landed on 40% gyroid infill with 5 bottom layers. The mallet cap snaps on the hammer head holding it tight. Can be removed with a good pull & twist.

The two hammers I use are 24mm & 28mm so those are the sizes I modeled. However, the design should scale nicely if your hammer head has a similar form factor. Leave a comment if there's a form factor (head diameter and throat length) that isn't working and I'll look at adding it.

Note: This is designed to be printed in TPU. I recommend TPU HF 95a or TPU for AMS
