Description
Wall mount for a Surface 3 Pro and Surface Pro 5 (1796) Tablets in Landscape Orientation.
I raised each corner with a gap height of 9.55 millimeters to fix the model. I also added fillets to the bottom edges of each corner to increase layer strength - this should prevent the corners from snapping off at the layer line.
PETG is my preferred material. Print with 4 layers bottom, 4 layers top, 25% infill of your choice. If you are printing with PLA, I'd recommend using 100% infill as my tablet gets hot and it may warp PLA over time.
OPTIONAL: Before printing, Add cylinder shaped modifier blocks with 100% infill for each of the four corners (Please see attached images detailing how to do this in Orca Slicer) for additional strength.
My Surface 3 Pro Tablet is Model 1631 with 256GB storage.
I recommend verifying your Surface tablet heights to ~9.55mm's at each corner with measurement calipers before printing.
