Travel Protector / Case for PS4 Controller Dualshock 4

This is a protector for your PS4 controller (i.e., the Dualshock 4). It covers both analogue sticks, all buttons, and also includes a shroud for the triggers. It is kept in place with a simple strap that is printed flat without any difficulty. To make this possible, the protector should be printed in TPU. I used TPU of hardness 95A and it works beautifully. I can imagine that it would also work fine with TPU of other hardness.

The model is printed flat without any supports. Only the stick covers are printed separately, but they are easily slid into place and kept there by friction alone. No glue or other fuss is required.

Be advised that the two trigger guards can cause quite a lot of stringing if your TPU print profile is not quite dialed in. If you don't want to deal with this I have also included a version without the trigger guard. I dropped my usual nozzle temperature by five degrees C to suppress this stringing, resulting in a very clean print. Otherwise, I printed at default settings with 0.2mm layer height. Generally, it's an easy print.

The whole things costs about 25g of filament. This means that it is both much lighter and much more compact than an equivalent all-inclosing case, and I believe this model provides almost as much protection as a fully inclosed travel case.

The version here differs from the one pictured in two ways: 1) It has a strengthened top cross bar and 2) the strap has handles to make it easier to use. I validated these improvements in a subscale test, but I didn't bother to print the whole model again since I don't need two of these. If you print this, please leave a make and a review :)
