Description
Due to limited table space in my setup, and I wanted a nearby place to place buildplates somewhere to cool down and start more prints. I decided to make a fairly simple shelf for this purpose. There is also a Gridfinity shelf option, although I don't use it.
It is recommended to use the Magnetic Top Cover as a base, although it is possible to use directly with M3 nuts to support the screws. The 4 rear M3x10mm screws should be replaced with M3x30mm screws. For the Gridfinity shelf, 6x2mm magnets should be used and should friction fit. The printed parts most likely will have a loose fit, so it is not recommended to put anything besides buildplates or light models on the hexagon shelf.
All models are designed to be printed in PETG with a 0.2mm layer height. Overture ASA was used for testing. Due to the heat of printing and build plates, PLA is not recommended.
