Helldivers (2) Dog Tags - Standard

Welcome Helldivers! Behold your chance to own your very own dog tags as they might appear in the Helldivers universe!

I was inspired by the versions I saw on here and decided I would make my own. I wanted my nickname and ship name added to the back, to be more close to official tags.

Available versions:

• Blank: Completely empty back. Use these to write what ever you want
• For Super Earth: This has the ‘For super earth!’ across the whole back
• John Helldiver: Feel like Super Earth's greatest mystery with these tags
• General Brasch: Become Super Earth's oldest and most grizzled war hero
  (The name Todd is a nod to his voice actor. I thought it would be more fitting then General as that is a rank)
• Xtreme_Machine: These would be mine! :D Could not resist to add them, although probably useless to others

How the models are currently sized, is as close as I could get to official US Army size and shape, according to what I could find on the internet. I admit, I did not look everywhere ;)

Inspiration:

My design is based on the Helldivers 2 logo and fonts as used in game. The lines above the skull are based on the ‘wings'.

I hope you like them, because I plan to make more versions!

Printing:

Although a 0.4 nozzle works (I printed the versions shown with it), I would suggest to use a 0.25 or similar size to get more X-resolution. I made the text as big as would fit and it's legible, but it could have come out better as you can see.

Please note: With a 0.2 nozzle, the text does come out better when the print is scaled larger!

Recommendations:

• 0.25 nozzle if available
• 0.2 structural
• No infill needed
• No supports needed

Filament:

Up to your preference, PLA works fine.

Assembly:

For the best print quality, these tags are split into two parts and have to joined. Use super glue or 3d print goop or what every glue you prefer for gluing both sides together.

Also make sure that the holes for the chain line up. I made that mistake a couple of times already :D
