Description
I am working on porting over the OrcaSlicer profiles for the SOVOL Zero to PrusaSlicer, and getting the build plate sorted was the first task. Over the next few weeks, I'll get the rest of the profile brough over and posted for others to use.
This is a model of the SOVOL build plate, as well as a texture file to match the build plate model. This has a grid pattern to it, and the blue is tinted to somewhat match the SOVOL colored bits on the printer.
This tiny Voron-inspired? machine can print at 1200mm/s with pretty decent quality (though, it's a lot better if not cranked to 11). The downside is that it only has a single published profile for Orca Slicer, and even then, only a standard speed one (not the hyper-cranked up version that all the early YT reviewers got on the USB with the warp speed benchy)…. but those will come with time.
This was inspired by several other build plates out here, and some tutorials I found on YT; but was the result of many hours in Inkscape and TinkerCAD getting the shapes, edges, colors just right.
The texture and the model can be applied through the Bed Shape menu within the printer settings and use 154.2x154.2 as the bed size. Anything else and it loads improperly.
Happy printing!
