Description
This is my pot that can be scaled up or down, has a screw-on seamless drip tray and offers great drainage due to large bottom holes.
To avoid soil passing through holes, a ‘’mesh'' needs to be printed, in your slicer, remove top and bottom layers and add infill to be 30-40%. That mesh works wonders!
If you have tolerance issues or want to scale down the model, make sure to print ‘’tray 50%'' instead, it has increased tolerances.
The main pot is designed to print with support, you should use regular supports and make the structure very low density. The planter bottom has its 1st layer solid so that holes can easily be printed, so… after printing just break that layer and cut out holes with a demurring tool, or leave as is if you do not need good drainage, that layer will be porous either way.
