Air Duct Window Vent [r.4]

A vent to mount onto a window with a 100mm air duct adaptor.
It can either be ‘hung’ from an airing window, or placed horizontally in a standard window.

The vent area is ~62 cm², which is close to the adaptor/hose area of ~65 cm² (worst case), meaning it shouldn't limit the volume of air too much.

This is part of my Printer Enclosure Ventilation collection.

Print

• The model is split to 3 parts for easier printing
• The vent (bendy part) has flat edges, so it sticks to the plate and doesn't require supports for the whole length, but a single support is recommended on the round part where it slots onto the adaptor (attached model includes painted supports)
• Tolerances are 0.25mm

WARNING: I have not printed/tested revised 150mm versions myself.

* This is a larger hose adaptor that fits the original exhaust.
**The area of 150mm hose/adaptor is ~175 cm².
65% version are is ~115 cm², but it just about fits MK4 bed.
100% version is 175 cm².
This doesn't account for the grate, nor the bend itself, which will both constrain the flow of air.
