DogTag Emergency SD-Card-Holder

Hi,

Since my military days, I’ve been wearing a set of dog tags containing emergency information such as my name, social security number, and blood type—just in case something happens to this mortal shell of mine.

I designed this dog tag–shaped micro SD card holder to carry additional digital emergency data with me. This includes emergency contact informations, a advance medical directive / living will , medical details, and more.

I created two versions of the holder: one thicker and one thinner. Both have a cavity sized for a standard Micro SD card.

I added some tape to hold the card in place and make it more resistant against water & dirt.

My print settings:

• 0.4 mm nozzle @ 0.1 mm layer height
• 3 perimeters
• infill: no, just solid layers
• Material: grey PLA
• Supports: no
• Brim: No
• ironing: yes
• Print time: 13min for the thin version
• Filament used: 1,5 g
