Book End with T-Track

The idea behind this project is to have adjustable and stable bookends.

Print Settings (Suggestions)

0.2-0.3mm.

PLA is fine, unless this is going to be in the sun.

Instructions

In order to get this assembled properly, you'll need to insert a pause command at 75- 83mm in the print and install the Carriage into the BookEnd.

After the print completes it's time to add the hardware. 

1. Install two springs on either side of the Carriage. 
2. Insert a nut into the middle hole in Carriage. 
3. Compress the Carriage with the thumb holes and install the bolt into the BookEnd.
4. Thread the bolt in until there is tension on the bolt without it being installed in the track.
5. Install the whole assembly on the track by squeezing on the thumb holes and lining up the bolt with the track.

Optional Upgrades/Updates

There are holes in the BookEnd that are designed to fit magnets. My thought was to have a cover that snaps over this whole BookEnd and is veneered in wood, with corresponding magnets. This would make this look much better than bare plastic.
