This is a trumpet cleaning adapter for use with a ½" threaded shower hose or a Gardena hose.
Add a 11 x 2,5 mm O-Ring to the Gardena adapters.
I also added an adapter shower hose to gardena so that you can use a garden hose to elongate your shower hose in case you need it.
Instructions to clean a trumpet using the adapter:
You’ll Need:
- Garden hose or shower hose (low pressure)
- Mild dish soap
- Large tub/sink
- Valve oil & slide grease
- Cleaning snake & mouthpiece brush
- Soft cloth
- 3D-printed hose adapter
Steps:
Disassemble
- Remove mouthpiece, slides, valve caps, and valves.
- The 3D-printed adapter lets you connect a Gardena or shower hose directly to trumpet tubing for controlled flushing.
Rinse
- Flush body/slides with gentle water (no valves!).
- Avoid direct pressure into valve casings.
Soak
- Soak parts (except valves) in lukewarm water + dish soap for ~20–30 min.
Brush
- Use snake brush for tubing/slides.
- Mouthpiece brush for mouthpiece.
Clean Valves
- Wipe valves with soapy cloth; rinse carefully. Don’t soak or scratch.
Final Rinse
- Rinse all parts again, shake off water, let air dry.
Reassemble
- Oil valves, grease slides, reassemble in order.
Polish
- Wipe exterior with soft cloth; polish if needed.
⚠ Tips & Cautions
