Description
This is another free 3D model made available for you. I love sharing my models, but designing, testing, polishing, uploading and maintaining them is a lot of work. In case you enjoy this model, please leave a small Donation or Buy me a Coffee. Thank you!
The skid plates on my Automowers regularly bent during operation, which led to friction with the screws of the cutting blades. As a result, the skid plate started rotating, the cutouts for the blades wore out, and this caused correspondingly loud noises.
The models shown here have a 1 mm greater clearance to the screws/cutting blades and are direct replacements for the original part. Unlike the steel plate, the 3D-printed plate does not bend. On the other hand, this part is certainly more fragile than a metal part. So use it for flat and easy to mow fields only.
Designed to be printed using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.20mm layers and PETG or better. Support from build plate recommended to support the inner cutout.
