Description
My mom recently gave me my Grandfather's 1950's Melitta 102 porcelain 3 hole coffee filter. I thought it would be a good test for my Revopoint POP 3D scanner. I was able to make an autosurface solid model from the point cloud, but I wanted a cleaner model I could manipulate. I ended up doing a lofted surface for the outside, and used the scan surface for the inside. It was a good mental exercise. I did modify the design and put two viewing holes in the base so you can see how full your cup is. Of course you could just buy a plastic one on Amazon, but what fun is that!
