V-Brake Pads (bike)

These are 3D-printable rim brake pads designed to fit standard V-brake systems (linear pull brakes).
They are based on real-world dimensions (70 mm pads) and include:

• A 6 mm center hole for mounting bolts
• A hexagonal pocket for an M6 nut
• A slightly curved brake surface to match rim contour

These pads are intended for:

• Fit-testing brake arms
• Visual mock-ups or educational demos
• Casting molds or experimental projects
• Actual brake pads (if youre crazy enough)

Printing Tips:

• Material: PETG or TPU for slight flex, PLA for mock-up
• Infill: 100% for best strength
• Orientation: print on side for cleaner bolt hole
