Description
I made this passthrough mount to help clean up the Bowden tube routing on my Prusa MMU3 setup. I’ve got both the MMU and filament dryer sitting on a Metro-style wire shelf, and I didn’t like how much space the default setup took up—or how the tubes kept sliding around during prints.
I was using some clip designs from other users, but the tubes would slowly shift while printing. That caused the filament to push or pull the tube, which sometimes led to jams or a few layers not printing properly.
This mount snaps right onto a standard wire shelf and holds five PC4-M10 fittings to keep the Bowden tubes locked in place. It keeps everything stable and lets the filament feed smoothly from the dryer to the MMU and then down to the printer.
I also added numbers 1 through 5 on the front to match the MMU inputs, so it’s easier to keep track of which tube goes where.
