Description
DJI Mini 2 / Mini 4K – Paper-Clip Payload Dropper
A quick-fit, ultra-light clip that snaps onto the rear belly vents of a DJI Mini 2 or DJI Mini 4K. Slip in a regular paper-clip, bend it into a hook, tie on a light line, and you’ve got a simple pendulum release for fishing lures or bait tested with about 4-5oz could probably do a bit more
The Mini series has no accessory mount, but sometimes you just need to place or drop something exactly where you can’t reach. Commercial dropper kits are bulky or need power; this one prints in under 30 minutes, uses a household paper-clip as the sacrificial part.
Clip-on: The part grips the two longitudinal ribs under the rear intake grille—no screws, tape, or mods.
Hook: Slide a #1 (standard) or #2 paper-clip into the guiding slot and bend the long leg forward into a hook.
Fly & Drop: Fly out at 5–8 m/s. When you hover or brake, the suspended weight keeps moving (pendulum effect) and slips off the smooth hook tip, releasing cleanly. No servo, no wires.
Tested repeatedly with a 3 oz sinker + line up to est 5 oz.
