Description
This simple intake adapter lets you connect many Pinguino machines to a hose system without causing any damage or permanent changes. It attaches easily by taping it to the back of the intake holes using regular packaging tape or duct tape.
I also included an Exhaust adapter that fits an 150mm exhaust pipe.
Designed to fit printers with a build area of 250x250mm, using the entire build plate.
Also compatible with BambuLab printers.
It's only tested for the Delonghi PAC CN92 Silent, but because the delonghi machines are all pretty similar I include the following list for easier finding:
The adapter covers only the middle section of the machine’s intake, fitting neatly there.
Side vents must be sealed with tape to prevent air from entering the room.
Be cautious: sealing the vents can cause issues, so do not leave your air conditioner unattended.
Keep the intake hose as short as possible; longer hoses make it harder to draw air.
Excessively long hoses can create a fire hazard. A 1.5-meter hose works well with the Delonghi CN92 Silent model.
The adapter significantly reduces negative air pressure in the room but may not eliminate it entirely.
Using a window sealing kit or plate is still recommended for best results.
The bluepart should be placed on the circular intake, it requires a brim on most setups. It may also require supports. My P1P worked without.
The grey part (hose adapter), can be fully printed without supports. Make sure to orient it on the Threads side. So theres no hard overhangs
Disclaimer: Use this adapter at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage, injury, or other issues that may result from its use. Always follow safety precautions and local regulations.
Another Adapter will be designed shortly, that does not require taping the vents
