Description
In the end, I decided to submit a personal idea as well.
I started with something that seemed simple at first glance, but it actually took a lot of time and filament to reach a satisfying design.
I saw many interesting projects, but I felt there was a need for something more versatile—something that could fit with any style.
That’s how I landed on the Voronoi pattern: combined with a translucent filament, it creates a unique play of light and shadow.
I also wanted to create a complete set for all components, perfect for those looking for a coordinated and harmonious build.
I ran several tests with different filaments, but the best results came from Prusament Translucent PETG.
I strongly recommend drying the PETG thoroughly before printing to avoid bubbles caused by moisture.
That said, you’re not limited to this material—many other filaments can give equally interesting results.
I’ve prepared a 3MF file with the best settings I was able to achieve during testing.
If you want greater transparency for the fan clips, I suggest printing them vertically.
However, this might require supports if your printer struggles with large overhangs.
Happy printing!
