Description
I accidentally threw that part in the trash (I have no idea why). I threw away the barrel adjuster screw itself too, so after a long search, I found it on AliExpress.
But I couldn't find just the plastic knob. The manufacturer themselves don't sell it, and I wasn't too keen on buying a whole new brake for 150 PLN (~35-40$). I planned to sell the bike, so a temporary fix was out of the question.
Since the rear brake was complete, I modeled the knob specifically for the original one. The one from AliExpress is slightly larger, so I modeled one specifically for it too. In case anyone else has the same problem.
The model is designed specifically for printing. It's a tiny bit wider at the top than the original, but when printed in black, it's hard to tell at first glance. Of course, the model turns slightly less smoothly than the original, but the core idea of the original is preserved – a quarter turn.
Print with standard settings: 0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle. Decreasing/increasing the resolution caused it to detach from the bed. If you still have adhesion problems, I recommend rotating the model 180 degrees and adding supports. I don't recommend adding a brim, as it's hard to remove.
