Description
This is a portable USB fan that can be taken anywhere and switched on and off with a switch. The LED allows you to see whether it is switched on even in the dark. A small drone motor with a diameter of 7 mm is required. Apart from the base, it is not difficult to print at all.
It should not be difficult to assemble. Start with the motor first. Carefully remove the insulation from the top of the motor so that you can solder it, but be careful! It can tear very quickly. Then glue the motor into the motor mount and then the propeller onto the motor. Then glue the entire frame with the motor and propeller exactly in the middle of the hole at the base. This must be done precisely so that it does not touch the side while rotating. Now for the other components.
Insert the LED, the switch, and the cable into the holes drilled on the side, and then solder all the parts together. I have included a circuit diagram to make soldering easier. Make sure that the propeller is aligned in the correct direction so that it does not turn in the wrong direction. Once everything is in place, you can glue the nets and the cover in place.
Press the switch firmly into place, as it may be a little stiff. The LED and cable should fit snugly; if not, you may need to enlarge the hole slightly with a screwdriver. However, it may also be due to the print quality.
If the motor does not rotate quickly, it may be worth using a more powerful power bank or USB port. It could also be that the motor is too weak.
