Intro:
- i got inspiration at print from Maciey, but i needed different properties.
- so i have created my own model (Blender file attached)
Characteristics:
- inner area:
- all edges rounded, including inner bottom corners!
- bottom is 5º angled
- → ✅ water runs out nicely
- as simple as possible
- no holes in the outer walls
- again, that would only be dirty after some time → more work to clean
- one hole in the bottom
- ✅ so the water pours out only at one point
- versions:
- hanging - I needed this for myself - it saves space around the sink (but those hooks might not fit everybody needs…)
- just standing, without hanging hooks
Print instructions:
- the box is rather small (as I did not want it to take too much space above sink for my usage, but at this size, it is perfect for me)
- 💡 so maybe think about scaling it up somehow
- PLA/PETG
- see 3mf
Usage:
- possibly put inside on the bottom rubber grid, so cutlery is not slipping (if you dont like that)
- hanging version:
- I have designed supports for the upper hooks as part of the model - which should be cut off / ripped off after printing (can be seen in 3mf)
- this saves a lot of supports, otherwise supports would be needed from the plate up to the hooks
- the cutted part is on the back of the print thus not visible when using
