Description
This page hosts two different designs for holonomic wheel designs. Both designs are fully printed, they don't require a single metal bolt or fastener! CAD is open source on OnShape.
Both wheels use the same Hub Adapter and Hub Screw. Rollers come in smooth and rough variants. Rough gives high traction on carpet, but is loud on smooth floors. Smooth rollers are quieter but only have so much traction. Tested with the 0.2mm preset for PLA on a Bambu P1P. Tight tolerance is important for these designs.
An additional spacer is needed for the omni wheel design. Rollers should be printed separately and pressed into the rims with moderate pressure.
For Mecanum wheels there is a Mecanum Rim Left and a Mecanum Rim Right. For a single wheel, you need two Lefts or two Rights. The opposite hand versions are for opposite hand wheels, not for a single wheel!
