Description
This coding damper directly bolts in place of the original intake on any Federal Signal Model L or Model D (and any rebrands). It uses a JF-0826 solenoid.
Hardware:
8x M3x10 machine screws (make sure to use button head inside the intake so it clears the valve)
3x M3x6 machine screws (hold the valve to the shaft)
2x M3 nuts (hold the solenoid box on)
2x M2x8 machine screws (these absolutely need to be button head)
12x M2x6 machine screws (if you don't feel like using button head here you can skip the two screws under the solenoid boxes and just use 10 total. But it looks so nice with button head, pls use them 🥺)
1x M2x12 machine screw (damper arm clamp, use nut on the end)
15x M2 nuts
Everything is in the correct orientation. The only part that needs supports is the intake itself. Just needs the underside supported and thats it.
