TITAN trolley case repair

The handle of my “TITAN” trolley couldn't pull out/not movable. The cause is that the lever in the handle was broken.

First of all print of the replacement part.

Print instructions

• use PETg because it is not so brittle as other materials.
• 30% honycomb infill
• 3 perimeters
• ironing for smooth top layer
• 0.2 layer hight … consider variable layer height to get all details as smooth as possible

The repair

now comes the detailed part ;-)

Handle disassembly

1. loosen the 4 side screws
   
2. take out upper handle and loosen the 2 longer screws inside the handle
    
3. open the top cover. perhaps use some opening tool
4. take out old lever (watch the spring in the middle)
    

Reassembly

1. put new lever in place, do not forget to put spring between lever and handle body
2. put cover onto the handle and hold it firmly together
3. screw the long screws into the handle. be sure that screws are put in all the way. The side holes must be free, otherwise you cant screw in the side screws
    
4. put handle back to the rods
   
5. screw in the side screws
6. ready :-) eat some gummi bears
