The new Integrated BL Touch units are best used with the X10DR range extender, especially when used with a BMG extruder!

PRINTING

Print main body standing as imported to slicer with supports, add custom supports between the upper & lower pylons left & right. It’s the cleanest way to print it. Other parts that need supports are the BL Touch mount & the lower rim of the fan shrouds. Your slicer will know what to do.

Print Fan ducts on their flat mounting faces with support for the overhang. 

Use PETG or better

0.2 layer height 

INSTALL

Note, the BL Touch mount height is shared across the design & used for different hotends that sit at different heights, washers will be required if using the standard hotend. Always check your probe height before first homing your printer!!

The printer's extruder motor needs to be rotated 90º counter clockwise so the plug is facing towards you, see photos.

Note: Make sure you replace the extruder parts correctly & note which bolt goes where, they are different lengths. You can damage parts if you get this wrong.

Install BL Touch onto the mount with counter sunk M3 8mm machine screws & nuts, then install the mount to the printer head first BEFORE you install the main body! Do not over tighten or you will break the mount.

Install the main body with the 2 original machine screws from the printer, note depending on your print you will probably have to sand the overhang face under the embossed name “NEMESIS” to clear the extruder housing. This is due to the way your printer works.

Now attach the fan mounting rings with one M3 8mm Countersunk machine screw into the lower pylon arms of the main body using the only countersunk holes on the mounting rings. Note the rings are not the same & must be used on the correct side of the unit. Do not over tighten!

Next add the fans to the mounting rings using 3x M3 20mm button head machine screws & nuts for the left side.

Use x2 M3 25mm button head machine screws & nuts for the right, use an 8mm for the top mount of the ring to the upper pylon if you can't find a M3 30mm machine screw to pass through the entire assembly on the upper pylon arm.

Use fan mounting spacers as required on the right hand side. See photos.

Then dry fit the fan shrouds, these are side specific so make sure they fit & clear the heater block & silicone jacket. Remove & add one small dot of super glue to each corner of the mating surface of the fan shrouds & secure into the fan aperture. If done correctly they will be easily broken out if you ever need to remove them. Do not cover the entire surface with glue as you will drip glue onto your print bed - that's a silly thing to do!

Hot end fan next, use 4x M3 25-30mm button head machine screws or self tapping wood screws into the main body. Do not over tighten!

Wire fans into printer loom. You're done!
