Description
This is a simple print based on Stew's Clip-on screen mount to mount the BigTreeTech Pad7.
This allows you to run a bigger 7 inch display and Klipperscreen.
The Pad7 needs 12V from somewhere, the Plus 4 doesn't supply 12V anywhere, so the best is to either use an external 12V power brick or run a 24V to 12V buck converter. I removed the top cover (the sliver plastic cover that the lid sits on) and routed the power cable through there to make a more seemless install. I also suggest you keep the stock display cable, just incase you need to reconnect the stock screen for some reason.
On the Pad7 you need to connect to your Wifi and then go to the mainsail webUI and edit KlipperScreen.conf and then add:
[printer Qidi Plus 4]
moonraker_host: {Insert IP of your Plus4}
moonraker_port: 7125Then restart the Pad7. If your Qidi Plus 4 is up and available on the IP you typed above, the Pad 7 will connect to it.
The instructions for printing this are pretty much the same as Stew outlines, so have a look at his page.
