Description
I got tired of grease tubes I use for the car and 3D printers that leak out the bottom over shelves … other tubes and cans … a real mess to clean up. Even when you put the tubes in plastic bags they seem to leak after a while.
So … I designed and printed this tube and close fitting lid from a cheap PETG on a Prusa MK3S+ and have used it on multiple tubes of grease on my shelves for several years now and they DO NOT LEAK.
Included is the tube and the lid. Lid up tube down. Also included at the FreeCAD files … all driven by a spreadsheet so you can vary the length and diameter for whatever range of tubes that you want to contain.
Included 3mf files are for a tube that's less than 57mm OD and less than 240mm long.
Tube and lid are 2 walls thick … increase that in your slicer settings of the CAD files if you want thicker walls.
