Holder to mount a Raspberry Pi on the iOptron Tri-Pier Column tripod

After equipping my iOptron CEM70 mount with a USB-3 hub, the Raspberry Pi (RPi 5) had to be fixed somehow so that it wasn't constantly hanging on the cables.

Printing

PETG is recommended, weight ~ 55 grams.

Nozzle 0.4 mm, Layer height 0.3 mm, 3 wall lines, auto brim or mouse ears, infill 10 % but doesn't matter as there is very little infill.

Modifier necessary! See pictures. Overhang lines and an overhanging wall are very close.

• Setting “Bridge Counterbore hole” to “None” is important for the overhang lines of the pockets (connectors and cooling air flow)
• Setting “Bridge Counterbore hole” to “Partially bridged” for the wall at the end of the straight guidance is necessary - otherwise lines will be printed “into the air”.

Assembly

Screw the holder/mount onto the tri-pier tripod at the M4 Hexagon socket button head screws. You can use the existing ones.
