Description
I made this new Electronics Cover for my Max Neo with better cablemanagement and hopefully better airflow with an 80mm fan. I am using an old 80x15 PSU fan with blown bearing I had laying around but its modeled to hold up to 80x25 (Noctua) fans. It's already much quieter.
If you're using a 12v fan, you'll also need a DC-DC buck converter. I used an LM2596, cheap one from Aliexpress. Use sticky tape or use the mounting holes on the Cover. Check the voltage output with a multimeter before soldering! Its around 20 Turns to the left from 24v to 12v.
I put a cutout fitting the extruder cables on the side + one for the bed cables and two auxillary holes for e.g. leading Serial or USB Cables in/out the box.
Since you will need new feet for the enclosure + ground clearance I also put them in the files. the rear profiles on my Ender Max Neo where the feet attach have screws in them so i modeled them accordingly.
