Snap-on Lens Cap

Lens caps for nine Camera brands: Canon, Fujifilm, Leica, Minolta, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Ricoh, Rollei.


PRINTING
If you know the filter size of your lens, just add 2 mm.  Otherwise measure the outer diameter of the front of your camera lens.

If your camera lens has a outer diameter of 48 mm, no rescaling in your slicer is necessary.
Otherwise rescale  - only X- and Y-axis - according to the equasion   Rescale = 100*(Yourdiameter+0.1/48.1).
For instance:
48 mm diameter = 100
51 mm diameter = 106.24
54 mm diameter = 112.47
57 mm diameter = 118.71

I printed the Lens Cap with PETG, 0.2 mm layer height. Printing with support is advised.
If wanted you can color change at the first, 3rd and 5th layer. 


ASSEMBLY
Place the Spring Insert into the inside of the Lens Cap.
If wanted you can attach a cord to the Lens Cap. Therefore you can drill 2 holes with a 3 mm drill from the inside of the Lens Cap.
