Description
These small quick to print holly decorations are great for Christmas cake decorations or little present or card decorations.
I used PETG to print these but PLA would work just as well. I used the colour change option in PrusaSlicer 2.1 (I do not have the MMU) to change from the green leaf to the red berries. of course, you can do whatever you like but I think they really pop like this.
I did print these on the powder-coated sheet but it will work just as well on the smooth one. I found printing a little slower better on these small prints. Just set up your colour change point just as the first layer of berries start to print. To avoid so many filament changes if you don't have the MMU it is best to do a few on a sheet in one go but if you do have the MMU this would be easy.
If you use PETG don't forget to allow a little more space under the nozzle compaird to PLA as PETG dosn't like to be too squashed to the bed or it will stick so well you may have a job getting it off!!
Happy printing and a very Happy Christmas
