Every year I'm making new mug for friends and family for Chmielaki Beer Festival in Krasnystaw, Poland

It was made to be used on festival to drink beer sold in 0,5l plastic cups - mug printed in 120% sizeÂ
Works with Nicknack cups (there is a bulge that will go in the cup's holder hole) - 120% size , you can try 119% or 119,5% if you want the cup to hold more firmly
Easier to use than just a cup and safer to use than drinking from a print
You can also use it with bottled beer (100% size), beer can (94%) or just for a decoration
I also used it with 0.5l stainless steel inserts. Mugs were printed in 115% size (may differ depending where you get the inserts)
Fits standard diameter beer bottle (there is a 72mm hole)
You can resize the model in slicer for different diameters
Use the equation:
X / 72 * 100%
where X stands for the diameter you want with added 1-2mm (for a 'safe distance')
So for example for a beer can (66mm, so X will be 68) you need ~94,5% size
Remember to check the widest area (like the bottom of the bottle or top of the cup under the rim)
If you printed it slightly too big you can use a fileÂ
BeerMug_Chmielaki2025_reducer
with the same size as a mug. It will reduce the hole diameter a little
Glue it or just push it in

Models made in Blender 3D
---
Printed withÂ
0.4 nozzle
0.2 layer height
3 walls (perimeters)
7% gyroid infill
7 top and 5 bottom layers
Bottom surface pattern: Octagram spiral ; Concentric looks nice too
No supports
On 120% size it is around 186g of filament used
Z-seam set to 'aligned' / 'sharpest corner' or 'user defined' and set to centerÂ
The seam should be in the 'channels' in the mug to hide it nicely
